Athletes Are Talking About Drymax Socks!!!
It has been a while since I've posted comments from athlete's about their impressions of Drymax socks. Here are just a few from just this weekend:
"I remember when i was running marathons and my feet would get tore up wearing worthless **** socks and now after 100k the only thing that doesn't hurt on my body are my feet!" - Dan Waddle after completing the Coyote Two Moon 100k
"I can not tell you how happy I am with my C2M experience. The toughest race that I have had to deal with yet. What a surprise though to not have to worry about my feet. AT ALL!!! Early on each foot took a did in a stream crossing and with the temps dipping as low as 24 degrees, I have to tell you that I was a bit worried. The next time my feet even crossed my mind, they no longer felt wet and they were never cold. A runner such as myself has to manage time wisely. To not have to change my socks was a big plus. Sometime cut offs come down to minutes and a foot problem can take me out of a race. At C2M I had no feet issues. No blisters. No pain what so ever and I have to say that I owe it to the (Drymax) socks."
- Leigh Corbin after completing the Coyote Two Moon 100 Mile

"For the first time I have found a product (Drymax) that I can truly believe in and I no longer have to worry about skirting around water while on the trail."
- Brian Krogmann after taking 2nd place at the Coyote Two Moon 100k
"So thankful for... Drymax (no sock change, no blisters, once the dirt was off it didn't even look like I had run!)" - Meredith Terranova after winning the Coyote Two Moon 100k (Female)
"I am sure all of the people in Alabama will be buying Drymax after what we went through on Saturday! They couldn’t believe my feet! I wore flip-flops to the awards ceremony on purpose to show them off!"- Jamie Donaldson after dominating the Delano 12 Hour race winning overall and setting a new overall course record completing 78 blister free miles
"The entire race, my Drymax socks stayed comfortable on my feet even though everything was soaked!" - Debra Horn after taking 2nd female, 5th overall and 'Grandmaster Champion' of the Delano 12 hour race completing 68 blister free miles.

Thanks for an awesome product. I currently wear the Drymax MP for trail running. However, I've recently purchased your actual Trail Running socks. Will I notice any difference? I've always been a little hesitant purchasing the Trail socks because they're not "maximum protection." Should I be at all concerned?
Thanks again for an incredible sock.
Hi Sau,
Thank you for your question. There is a difference between Max Pro and Trail in that the Max Pro has PTFE Profilen (similar to Teflon) which is combined with Drymax against your foot to create a dry and friction free environment. The Trail just has the Drymax, however, the foot is far more protected because there is is no mesh to allow debris in against the foot. They also have a 1/4 crew double Drymax welt that helps deflect and repel moisture.
You can see the photos on this post of Dan Waddle and Brian Krogmann, they are wearing Drymax Trail Running socks. Dan is wearing black and orange while Brian is wearing the gray and orange. Meredith Terranova is pictured wearing Drymax Hot Weather socks. Leigh Corbin is pictured wearing Maximum Protection that she wore under a pair of black and orange Trail Running. Jamie Donaldson has our newest prototype Maximum Protection Trail socks which should be out in a few months. Debra Horn is pictured wearing Drymax Maximum Protection socks.
I hope this helps. Our hope is have a Maximum Protection Trail sock out soon that will deal with your question a little better...
Best Regards,
Bob

Thank you for your great response, Bob. Very helpful indeed.
Is it the photo or are your new prototype Max Pro Trail socks mini-crews? I ask because this is the primary reason I've purchased your Trail socks; too much debris gets into my shoe *and* my sock. So I need something that rides just a tad higher and perhaps tighter around the ankle to prevent that dirt from getting in. I do look forward to this new prototype sock. I'll keep my eyes open for them.
Thanks again for your great response.
Best,
Mircea
ok Bob, you are more then welcome to correct my spelling errors. as you can tell, i was still recovering. (brain cells lacking).
i was so excited about my socks that i signed up for a 50 mile race next weekend. this will be my 7th ultra wearing Drymax. i love them! LC
I am on the Drymax wagon. After tearing up my feet at the HURT this year I finally bought a pair of them. I ran a CR at a trail 50k on Sunday and did not have any foot issues at all. I am a believer. They are the real deal. Brian was wearing them there as well.
I am wearing them in every ultra race for now on.
