Jamie Donaldson Breaks Records In The Rain!

Congratulations to Jamie Donaldson who just continues to amaze us with her blazing fast performances!!! I was at an aid station at the Coyote 2 Moon last night and received a text from Jamie after her Delano Park 12 Hour race telling me she had a great day. But it wasn't until I returned to my computer hours later that I knew how impressive her performance was.
Jamie's Blister Free Feet After 12 Hours 78 Miles In The RainJamie was able to set a new women's course record running 78 miles in just 12 hours, she also won the overall title and set a new overall course record! All of this in steady rain and muddy conditions. Jamie maintained a 9 minute 13 second pace for 12 hours straight in the rain. A little more perspective: Jamie was so fast that she would have taken 3rd place in the team relay beating the 3M Decatur Running club by 15 miles! Adding to this is the fact that she was testing our new Drymax Maximum Protection Lite Trail socks and had zero blisters!
Debra Horn and Jamie DonaldsonWe were even more happy to hear that Drymax athlete Debra Horn finished as the 2nd female and 5th overall completing 68 miles. Like Jamie she had zero blisters wearing Drymax socks!
On a side note Drymax socks are proudly manufactured in the USA in a plant just over an hour away from where this race was held.
Great job Jamie and Debra!!!
