Sports Are A Life Lesson

So many things learned in sports carry over to everyday life. With sports you often get out what you put in but some luck never hurts. Regardless, if you give 100% and compete with integrity then it really doesn't matter who wins so long as the competition is honorable and fun.
I was really reminded of this while watching the Drymax basketball team compete recently. This team made up of young men of about 12 years old competed with an intensity and fairness that I haven't often seen. They were diving for balls, playing with teamwork and hustling the entire game. The competition was fierce and Team Drymax came out victorious in overtime.

The most impressive thing was their sportsmanship during and immediately after the game. They shook hands and even hugged congratulating eachother then immediately went outside where they continued to play.

We are so proud to be part of the Templeton, California Youth Basketball program and sponsors of these young people learning a little about life while on the basketball court. Congratulations on a great season.
